  8. 13 NFL passing records in his career. He
  9. even broke his own 1979 record by throwing
  10. for 4,715 yards in 1980 and 4,802 yards in
  11. 1981. He is third on the list for most yards
  12. gained passing (43,040), behind Fran
  13. Tarkenton and Dan Marino.

  15. In 1983 and 1986, Dan was named NFL 
  16. Player of the Year. He was inducted into the 
  17. Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1993.
